We are excited to share that new websites are coming for our school board and all 93 HWDSB schools the first week of May. These refreshed sites are designed to be easier to use, more accessible, and make it simpler for families to find the information they need. This work is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance how we share information, connect, and collaborate with families, staff, and communities across the system.
We will be having our Spring Scholastic Book Fair on May 5th - 8th (on 1st and 2nd Nutrition Breaks in the Library).
Book Fair will also run on OPEN HOUSE night: May 7th (4pm - 7pm)
Parent/Guardian VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP: Our Book Fair is a busy time, and we would love if any Parents/Guardians could volunteer during classroompreview days and/or during Nutrition Breaks. An up-to-date background check submitted to the office is required.

As we enter the final three months of the school year, we arrive at an important moment for reflection and renewed focus. This time invites us to pause and check in on the goals we set at the beginning of the year, the supports we continue to provide, and the impact we are striving to have on student achievement across our system.
As we enter April, I want to offer an opportunity to reflect ahead of Mental Health Week, which takes place from May 4 to 10. This period encourages us to pause and consider the importance of mental health and well-being across our schools and communities.
